The Circle
Sunday Evenings 6-8pm monthly
Circle Holder: Reb Beni Summers
The saying goes “After the ecstasy, the laundry.” When we have psychedelic experiences, be they exhilarating, challenging, confusing, or healing, there may still be more work to do in order to feel complete or whole. In the psychedelic field, this practice is commonly referred to as integration, a process “in which a person revisits and actively engages in making sense of, working through, translating, and processing the content of their psychedelic experience.”
At The Circle we will co-create a sacred container of trust in order to provide a venue for making meaning of our encounters with states of expanded awareness. The framework for this offering is derived from Jewish traditions, broadly understood, with a unique blend of niggunim (wordless melodies), meditation, Torah learning, and group processing. This offering is designed to support and uplift the stories and processing of members of the Jewish psychedelic explorers.

Intro to Tai Chi with John Wolfe
T’ai-chi Ch’uan, “meditation in movement,” is a martial art and a spiritual discipline derived from the Daoist concept of Yin and Yang. Chu’an means “fist” or “boxing.” My name is John Wolfe and I have been practicing Prof. Cheng Man-ch’ing’s 37-posture short form since 1971. Cheng is credited with bringing Tai-chi Ch’uan to the West. The focus of this Introductory Course will be on the first third of Cheng’s sinuous, slow-moving form of “swimming in air.”
Come for a 30 minute introductory class on Wednesday October 9th at 5pm.
